    Description

This 4-page campaign newspaper for the re-election of Mayor Edward T. Buckingham of Bridgeport, Connecticut was issued in either 1931 or 1932. It measures 11” x 16”, and, except for some marginal chips, is in good to very good condition with no tears or stains.
It contains a large photo of Buckingham, the Democrat, and some scathing articles on his Republican opponent, William S. Mason, accusing him of various forms of corruption. A great paper for the local Connecticut historian or collector of political Americana.
