    Description

    AUCTION ITEM(S):
    Colorful & elegant porcelain cachepot made by Mottahedeh in an authorized reproduction for the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
    The pattern is from an 18th century Chinese design known as “Tobacco Leaf”.  Marked VA for Vista Alegre, Portugal.
    It is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 4 1/4 inches high. Condition is very good, no cracks or crazing, no scratches in the enamel decoration. There is one tiny flake in the top rim (please see the last photo).
