We offer a vintage Mottahedeh lidded pomegranite box with stand in the Tobacco Leaf pattern.
The total height is 5 1/4" and the stand measures 10" in diameter. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
Tobacco Leaf was a Chinese Export pattern was developed circa 1780. The design shows the leaves of the flowering Nicotiana (Tobacco) plant upon which a small phoenix perches bearing a flowering twig in its beak. This exact reproduction requires twenty-eight colors including 22K gold and five firings to manufacture. Tobacco Leaf is
