Mottahedeh introduced the exquisite Tobacco Leaf pattern in 1985. It was designed in conjunction with the Metropolitan Museum of Art based on 18th century examples in their collection. The Chinoiserie motifs are common on Chinese export pieces from that period. It is a very vibrant pattern. The pattern is highlighted with gold accents. This listing is for the tea cup only. There is no saucer. It is a great opportunity to buy extra cups for those unfortunate accidents. The cup is 3” tall. The design circles the cup as shown. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, crazing, or repairs. It is fully marked as shown. The price is for one cup and you can buy up to the number remaining.
