Unusual pewter adjustable ring teddy bear cub head w/faux turquoise vintage sign

What an unusual ring! There is a copyright symbol and some sort of maker's mark inside, but I can't figure out what it is. I've added a close-up of that, so maybe you can tell who made it? I tested it and it's definitely not sterling silver, but that wasn't a surprise as the band shows quite a bit of wear. The cute bear's head is in great condition. It's adjustable, and currently set at about a 3.5. Please see photos for more details.
