Vintage MOTTAHEDEH 19th Cent. Transferware Pattern Plate
PLEASE NOTE: Some ceramic items may appear lighter or warm toned due to lighting conditions. I am often trying to show detail on an item and the finish may appear faded or white highlight spots/curtaining will show up on the design. Unless otherwise noted colors/finishes are much more even under normal light.
Creamware bodied china. Black on a lemon yellow ground (yellow is much lighter than shown, the intense light warmed it up quite a bit). Pattern based on the 19th Cent. French designs by Creil & Montereau, Gien, Choisey, etc.
Measures: 9 3/4” across.

Condition: very good (nice and clean, no chips or cracks)

Due to the nature of antiques/collectibles all items are sold as is/as described. All items in usable condition when applicable unless otherwise noted. Please remember that unless specified all items have been used and will show varying signs of use/wear. Even items that were never used may show signs of age or exposure to time/elements. As a collector I always list the obvious staining/spotting/discoloration and damage/defects to material to the best of my abilities. However, some slight imperfections that will not show or affect displaying/using the item may slip by or not be considered worth mentioning. Please be very specific in your questions regarding condition.
Florida residents must pay 7% sales tax or have current resale certificate.
All Items are shipped USPS Priority unless otherwise noted/requested. I gladly ship overseas but items worth over 100.00 will have to go Priority Insured (for tracking purposes) or First Class Mail International Registered. Due to the Insurance rules with eBay I will leave it up to the buyer if they would like insurance on an item. I will However automatically insure certain items valued over 100.00 (which means that you pay for it and the insurance amount will be added to the handling fee) so please wait until I send you the invoice or include correct USPS insurance in the handling window with your payment. If the item value is under 100.00 and you would still like Insurance please let me know upon completion of auction.
Feedback is left only after I receive yours. I can't know if you have had a positive experience until then. If you have a problem with an item please contact me to try to resolve the issue before leaving feedback. I leave feedback in batches at intervals weeks or months at a time.
