Vista Alegre Mottahedeh handpainted Strawberry Vine Tureen & Lid w/ Underplate 20 cm
This is a Vista Alegre for Mottahedeh Hand painted Strawberry Vine Tureen & Lid w/Underplate, there is no damage to this set there are no chips cracks or crazing there are no utensil marks as if never used.
There is slight ware to the gold edging see pictures.
Brand Vista Alegre Nº 36 period of production between 1980 to 1992 "Hand Painted" and gold painting, piece of export given its production was only for the exterior
Polychrome decoration with strawberries and green flowers arranged on both sides of a gold filigree. Alternating with these elements are arranged sheets and buttons in matte gold engraved to Agate.
This decoration was developed from existing pieces in the museum of Vista Alegre and that go back to the first period of the porcelain factory.
Vista Alegre is the best porcelain produced in Portugal. Holds the highest international awards
